I shoot events the same way I shoot skateboarding. After all, they’re more similar than most people think. Both require the ability to process the chaos of a fast moving environment in real time, capturing fleeting moments, compelling characters, and dynamic compositions on the fly, all while adapting to constantly changing light and conditions.
My experience shooting live events, especially outdoors, allows me to adapt quickly to whatever the moment calls for. Need clean, brand focused imagery? Got it. Looking for something more creative that leans into the energy of an event? Say less.
I love to bring the same unique angles, fisheye perspective, and lighting that define my skate work into more traditional event environments, offering a high energy collection of imagery that really places you at the event.
This portfolio features live event coverage ranging from ride days with Burton Snowboards, snowboarding contests with The North Face and Burton, live music shot for Orville Peck, Jamie Wyatt, and Soul Coughing, a shaper event at my local skateshop and more.
